I have always wanted to record events and thoughts to read later in the future since I knew about journals. Never actually started, probably did...but lost the book or gave up. I'm only 5 months from being 18, and 2 months in from starting college... finally going to start a journal(web journal?) Anyways, today I went to my Hist 3 class anticipating my score for my 2nd exam. Its a big deal because during summer session, the time is short and every test counts. Too my delight, I got an A! I couldn't help smiling even though I knew others did not do so well, I must of looked like I was bragging... (-_-)
Times are tough now, my dad just began working at "Oh My Pan" Bakery & Cafe and his friend-boss is being stingy with how the bread products should be made. Mom today talked about her Ph.D in China and how she wants me to pay the trip with my scholarship/grant money. I honorable accepted... as long as the money is not being spent on my educational needs.
Today I began to reminisce about Disneyland, and everything I love about it. And to be honest whenever I remind myself of the priceless memories I get a nudging desire to bring my future girlfriend there. I'm getting giddy just writing this, but I wish I could share the magic Disney offers with the girl I love :) I know its not smart to get caught up in relationships when your about to take college seriously, but I really wish I could meet my "cara mia" or my beloved. Perhaps my cousin is right that I am socially shy, or I'm just not focused in "mac'n" a girl and waiting for it to naturally happen. <3
